Training Plan - Week 28 - July 7 to 13

Back into race season, with quite a heavy plan of 4 races in the next 5 weeks. 

First up is Huntly Sprint Triathlon. This is a race that I have never done before. In the past it has always been on the same day as the Standard race so I have always opted for the longer version. I have been round the course in the past though. I have ridden the bike route as a recce a couple of years ago, and the run is just one lap of the two lap standard race. 

The rest of the week is built around racing on Sunday. 



Monday - Swim with TPT, cycle both ways. Weights session.

Tuesday - Run reps session. Core session.

Wednesday - TT bike or long run, and swim at Knockburn.

Thursday - Long run or bike. 

Friday - Easy bike.

Saturday - Rest day.

Sunday - Huntly Sprint triathlon


Target totals - Swim > 2.5 miles. Bike > 35 miles. Run > 12 miles. 1 short core, 1 short light weights and 2 short stretching sessions. 10 mins of wii yoga.
