Training Plan - Week 30 - July 21 to 27

Inverurie Sprint Triathlon this weekend. As this is effectively the home race for TPT I have no excuse not to swim fast. I know the pool better than any so it also gives me a chance to try and get my 13 minute 750 swim target for the year. Also gives me the best chance I have to put tumble turns into a race as I feel more comfortable in this pool.

Wednesday I have a flexi day, so might try and do the dolphin hunting. Also planning to go out to Knockburn and either bike or run followed by a couple of laps in the water. Will see how long all the dolphins take first.


Monday - Swim with TPT. Weights session.

Tuesday - Long run or bike. Core session.

Wednesday - Flexi day - Dolphin hunting?
TT bike or long run, and swim at Knockburn.

Thursday - Run reps session. 

Friday - Easy run.

Saturday - Rest day.

Sunday - Inverurie Triathlon


Target totals - Swim > 2.5 miles. Bike > 40 miles. Run > 12 miles. 1 short core, 1 short light weights and 2 short stretching sessions. 10 mins of wii yoga.
