Training Plan - Week 31 - July 28 to Aug 3


Knockburn Standard Triathlon this weekend. This one is on my list of targets for the year so hopefully the nice weather will last so I can chase last year's time. 

Also Deeside Thistle have some empty spaces in their TT event this week and I have managed to get a guest spot in Tuesday night's race. This wasn't really on my plan but I do have a target for the year to ride a TT somewhere so it will be good to get that crossed off. Maybe not the best time to do it in between two weekend races when I have gone quite hard on the Sunday before, but the opportunity was there so I am going to take it and see what I can get out of my legs for 9 miles. 




Monday - Swim with TPT. 
Stretching session.

Tuesday - Deeside Thistle TT race - 9 miles.

Wednesday - Run, and swim at Knockburn. 
Core session.

Thursday - Easy bike session. 
Weights session.

Friday - Easy run.

Saturday - Rest day.

Sunday - Knockburn Standard Triathlon


Target totals - Swim > 3 miles. Bike > 40 miles. Run > 12 miles. 1 short core, 1 short light weights and 2 short stretching sessions. 10 mins of wii yoga.
